Starting her journey as a nurse, Fatima rose through the ranks to senior management and Directorship roles in the NHS , making her mark in Service Redesign, Patient Safety, Clinical Governance, Quality Assurance, Procurement, and Commissioning. Her unparalleled expertise and unwavering dedication to health and social care are matched by her vibrant political activism. As a Labour Party councillor, UNISON Regional Executive Committee member, a Labour Link Officer for NHS North West Surrey Hospitals, a school governor and Secretary for SME4Labour, Fatima’s passion for public service has seen her complete the Labour Party’s Future Candidate Programme and was also shortlisted as Parliamentary candidate, highlighting her relentless drive for change, social justice, inclusion, equality and diversity.
